Domingo Barnhouse is a family home on a fenced private plot at the edge of Bereke, a quiet village in Talgar district, an hour from Almaty. The Ak-Bulak ski resort is a five-minute drive away, so in winter you can be on the slopes in the morning and back by the fire for lunch.
The house sleeps up to six, which makes it a good fit for families and small groups. After a day in the mountains, warm up in the wood-fired banya or the hot tub, then gather around the firepit. In the warmer months, mountain trails, horseback riding and local farms are all close by.

A cosy barnhouse for families and small groups, with a fenced yard and parking on site. One bedroom has a king bed, the second a sofa bed and a baby cot, and there is another sofa bed in the living room. The house has a kitchenette, a shower room and Wi-Fi, and a breakfast basket is included.
Outside there is a BBQ and a firepit. A wood-fired banya is available for 30,000 ₸ per two-hour session, and the hot tub for 25,000 ₸ per heating.

Raushan & Azamat
Azamat, a former military officer, and Raushan, a teacher, built their first guest place on Lake Alakol with their own hands. Before that they ran a travelling cinema, bringing films to village community centres across Almaty Region. Now they bring the same care to Domingo Barnhouse, and they live right next door.
